Toptable says about Dolada
Dolada embodies the kind of effortless chic that Italians are famous for worldwide. Nestled beneath a DKNY store round the corner from The Ritz, this restaurant is a classy yet relaxed affair distinguished by its faultless attention to detail. The cherry wood and leather burgundy seating, the framed photography, the white linen, the
state-of-the-art lighting - they all look as if they were put in place a few hours previously they're so spotless. An all-Italian staff serve a moreish cuisine unrivalled in W1S, or so rumour has it. Numero uno of the antipasti is the tegamino di carciofi - sautéed artichokes with chestnuts, chicken livers and truffle oil. Meanwhile, top of the primi piatti is a veal dish called cotoletta di vitello alla Milanese. Both taste even better than
they sound.

The name has changed but everything else is still just as good, it's a regular feature for a nice, not too expensive meal in St James's.
Please note that you have the name wrong. It used to be called Mosaico and is now called Dolada! Name change was 12 January so recent and commented on by everyone who arrived for lunch. The food was good quality and served efficiently. Staff were effective but could have been more friendly. Great value and look forward to going back.
Good food, although very limited menu, at Mosaico. No veggie options which was a shame and the only fish was fried - although in a very light, Asian syle batter and delicious. Having said that, very nice meal and the maitre d' told us they will be expanding the lunchtime menu shortly. Nice for a business lunch.
Great for a Business lunch
Ristorante Mosaico was an intersting experience. The dining experience excellent in many ways but its ambience is the only real problem. We were there on a quiet evening but suddenly just as we were getting to our main course a series of 1970s disco hits were played. Luckily being old enough to remember them helped !!! But somehow it all seemed a little out of place. Perhaps Pavorotti next time !
