About Indus

A refined Indian restaurant, Indus is situated just off of Twickenham’s main drag, just a short walk from the area’s famed riverside. Indus, Twickenham. Army-Navy day at Twickenham so restaurant busy, but had adequate staff to ensure great service and prompt response. Food was very good, though drinks can be expensive. Overall a good experience and we will be back next year.

We were the only ones to enjoy the hospitality of Indus in Twickenham last evening. This is baffling considering the excellent Indian cuisine on offer, cooked right in front of you, and including the best rasmalai I think I've ever tasted. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back, even if no one else is!

Indus in Twickenham was a nice venue for our valentines night and anniversary. The service was brilliant with free champagne thrown in when we arrived! We have been to a few places on this night and this place seemed to offer real service and value for money as oppossed to many places we've been that seem to try and fleece you just because its feb 14th. Free pappadoms too, great staff, good food.

This was my first visit to the Indus and possibly not representative as it was after Wales had thrashed England at Twickers. Unsurprisingly the restaurant was awash with red, dragons and daffodils. I do not know if we, as a nation, are particularly prone to ordering fish but that evening the creel was empty, so to speak. That apart the service and quality of food were excellent especially considering the Celtic hordes were demanding even more beer to celebrate the Triple Crown! Return? Yep!
