Benihana
About Benihana
Elegant Japanese styling and delicious fresh food await you at London’s Benihana Restaurant. Situated in the urban oasis that is the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in the very centre of the City, Benihana is a favourite not only of tourists but of locals fresh from the nearby offices, relaxing with colleagues or indeed entertaining clients. In keeping with the Benihana brand – the chain began in New York way back in 1964 – this superb Japanese restaurant swaps the conventional kitchen for a central hibachi grill around which diners watch their food being prepared before their eyes. Boasting a wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes traditionally cooked Benihana offers a unique Japanese dining experience not to be missed.

First visit to Benihana St. Paul's for a family dinner with our 2 daughters (15 and 12). Great time and a very good meal. Chef was entertaining, as they always are at Benihana. My daughter thought the Salmon was some of the best she's had. The chicken, prawns and steak were all top notch. Decor is bright and modern.
Food good. Service a little slow. Too few people in the restaurant(on a Thursday evening)9 Still an enjoyable Benihana experience.
Ok experience at benihana. The atmosphere wasn't great as it wasnt very busy. probably to do with the v expensive drink prices! Food offer with Toptable good value and would go back.
The staff were nearly all officious, cold and to some degree incompetent apart from the chef but even he seemed fed up. Benihana seemed to have one aim and that was to sell whatever it could to customers. We had booked the 8 course taster and they were not forthcoming with the menus and seemed to go out of there way to push things on us that we did not want. For the price one would have expected a higher degree of professionalism and welcome. The showy food prep however made the event special
