Camino
About Camino
A vibrant, exciting restaurant at Canary Wharf, or rather Puerto del Canario, Camino appeals to both trendy locals and the hungry flocks from nearby offices. A vast tree lined terrace fronts Camino, leading the diner towards the plate glass fronted contemporary restaurant inside which a sun-filled space with touches of Latin flavour in splashes of red, mounted bulls’ horns and terracotta pots, looking back out on to the glistening skyscrapers outside. With many dishes cooked on the huge grill imported directly from Bilbao, it’s clear that authenticity is important to the Camino kitchen. In addition to typically Spanish tapas, the Camino menu features honest traditional Spanish food made using fair trade, free range, local and seasonal produce wherever possible.

The food on from the short and varied menu at Camino is, good as ever, however I have found over 5 or so visits the the service is consistently slow. For a place close to canary wharf they really should aim for an easy 1 hour turnaround - the kitchen can match the pace but the waiting staff dont seem to. Fix this and they are onto a winner.
Nice ambience and tapas. Will try the steak next time.
Lovely food! Great service and table football for after dinner fun!
Camino, London. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious tapas lots of great items on the menu to try. The black pudding was immense!
I had lunch at Camino Canary Wharf with a client. We had the meat platter for 2 with a very nice bottle of Rioja. The platter was superb. There was a generous amount with great variety and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent although the restaurant was not busy. I will visit again.
