Les Deaux Salons offers an authentic French bistro in the heart of the West End. The pre-theatre menu is excellent value but be careful of the portions - my manin course included only the merest suggestion of lamb.
At first we were a bit bored by what seemed like a blah menu but then the food came and it was amazing. Will definitely go again.

Arrived for dinner at 7.00pm and the welcome was as warming and efficient as ever. Arrived just at the end of the early crowd and just before the start of the evening rush. The service is efficient, professional and friendly: just wish more places were like this. Fodd as ever classicly French bistro and well presented. Crab salad a little overpowered by coriander and chili but otherwise everything was fine. Spot on Lemon tart.
Food at les deluxe salon was very good indeed, nothing disappointed. This was, however ruined by the (at best) indifferent service. I booked weeks ahead yet we were seated at a table where servers continually had to push past, when my partner was bumped in the back with a tray we then asked to move tables and were given one marginally better. Wine by the carafe was not as ordered (Sauvignon blanc not Sancerre). Mistakes were rectified grudgingly and without apology.
