Had dinner at Wallace&Co in Putney. Place has a modern homely feel & the staff were friendly & attentive. I had the ham&cheese croquette which were okay. For mains we had the lemon sole which was fresh & the lamb which was full for flavour. For dessert we had the sticky toffee which was sweet and the chiffon pie which was fantastic & to die for. Overall a nice experience for dinner.

Their "meal deal" is great. they were quit busy this night, so service was a bit slow, but apart from that, great food and nice atmosphere

Restaurant, Wallace and Co, Putney, London not all that full on a Tuesday evening, and staff were perfectly happy with our wish to move to another table. Service was efficient and pleasant, and the meal was fine. My wife wanted two starters rather than starter and main, and there was no hesitation in meeting her wishes. Ambiance was pleasant, although the buzz of our former visit was lacking, but on that occasion the place was crowded.

Really quiet in the restaurant but the staff were lovely and the food was good. I had the pork belly which melted in the mouth and the lamb's breast starter was a revelation! Had a really nice bottle of amlbec as well.
