We love the relaxed atmosphere at the North London Tavern, and the décor is a chic mix of chandeliers, old leather Chesterfield sofas and an old wood-panelled bar. The modern British menu is a hit, and highlights include the courgette fritters with olive salsa; the poached smoked haddock served with a purple sprouting broccoli soufflé and spinach; and the braised shin of beef in red wine with mash and parsley and pepper dumplings.

We have enjoyed several meals at The North London Tavern. The pre theatre menu is excellent value but we ate later on this occasion. The menu is very limited for not meat eaters, only three options, even the hake was served with a risotto with ham. The portions are not generous we left feeling hungry! The soup which one of our party had was not even served with bread and butter. However, it is good restaurant quality cooking with an interesting menu so will return.
Pretty good for an old London pub. Steaks are generally very good indeed.
The North London Tavern, London, Kilburn i have a ridiculous number of allergies and i was assured this was something they could cater for. i was served a delicious dinner- would definitely come again!
Second visit to the North London Tavern, great value earlybird offer, ideal for pre theatre dinner when going to the Tricycle In Kilburn.
Really good meal. Great Spanish influences in the menu and wine list.
