Located on the New North Road, the North Star is close to the canal, just across the way from Shoreditch Park. Inside, the interior is polished and put-together. With dark wood floors, comfy sofas and dove grey walls the restaurant is suitable for social and corporate entertaining, and outside the decked beer garden comes complete with picturesque whitewashed walls and flowerboxes for sunny summer afternoons. The menu at the North Star includes everything from a classic Ploughman’s platter to girolle and leek risotto drizzled with truffle oil and delicious homemade puddings including the vanilla pannacotta served with raspberry sorbet.
