We had to wait around 25 minutes for our 8pm table but they gave us a complimentary drink while we waited. From there it was excellent, especially the lobster linguine. Would go again without a doubt.
We visit numero uno regularily in clapham and it is a great local to have ... very friendly and good food -

Chose Numero Uno, Clapham, for a lunch with one of my girlfriends. Couldn't have been a more perfect choice. Service was very swift, and the pasta dishes were delicious. Really tasty, and good sized portions. We tried the della Nonna pasta (bacon, chilli, ewe's cheese), and the wild boar pasta, both of which were exceptional. The wine list was excellent- plenty to suit any budget. The desserts were also beautiful. Very family friendly, and bustling little place. Will definitely be back!
Numero Uno - Clapham Had another fantastic meal in Numero Uno! Food was superb, great atmosphere. The best Italian I have found in London or Surrey. Can't wait for the next Visit.
