About Amico Bio
The team behind Amico Bio (head chef Pasquale Amico and his two cousins) are on an admirable mission: to bring an eco-friendly restaurant concept – vegetarian, organic Italian food – to London. The restaurant is housed in a charming building in a particularly charming part of ye olde London; in fact they’re near neighbours with Smithfield, one of London’s most well-known meat markets. The dining room is quirky and cosy, featuring a glass front and a narrow fireplace. As for the food, well, London vegetarians have never been happier. Italian ingredients lend themselves well to vegetarian food – all-organic vegetables and olives from the owners’ farm near Naples dominate the menu, as well as homemade bread, a variety of pastas and vegetarian versions of the beautiful cheeses Italy is so famous for. Desserts like apple, fig and date tart or cantucci and sweet passito wine will tempt you into staying on, as will the extensive range of wines, all of which are vegetarian and organic, on offer.

What a lovely restaurant - in a lovely quirky part of London. The food was great, very inventive and great to know it's all organic. The toptable offer was fabulous. As a vegetarian, it's always great to try new restaurants and this is a new regular for me! I would highly recommend.

We are never disappinmted at Amico Bio. the ever-changing excellence and value of the menu and the attention to ensuring a dining success by Pasquale and his intelligent team add up to a memorable evening. Last night we found tremendous food satisfaction and a recommended Pugliese red that was truly complementary. the magical location and sense of enterprising endeavour make this place a bit of a one-off. Not to be missed!
We went to Amico Bio in London on a fairly busy Tuesday night. Although other reviews had said that the service could be slow, I did not experience this at all. They were attentive and always in my vision if we needed them. I'd loved the food; and as a non-vegetarian I did not miss meat for a moment. Will definitely go back!
Honest food by honest people. Food could do with a bit more flavour but still very tasty and wholesome. Service very good.
