Going to Plane Food is always a good way to relax and start your holiday early. Unfussy and unpretentious food and generally good service. No complaints and I'll always be back.
Possibly the nicest airport food we've had, but then airport restaurants are usually bland affairs. The desserts were the stars, with the pineapple carpaccio georgeous. It's a nice place to kill an hour, but not cheap!
Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food was a welcome surprise and well worth a stop off before taking a long haul flight. I recommend it - an oasis at T5
When your rushing to catch an early flight, it may seem obtuse to think of your tummy, but I find a full stomach stands you in good stead, at least when compared to what most airlines offer as meals these days! You can't do better than a full English from Gordon's menu.
We always have our meals at terminal 5 at Plane food. The choice is homely and healthy. It's good for business breakfasts and family meals before holidays. The service is always good, although lacking a bit of touch.
