Pasha
About Pasha
Stepping into South Kensington’s Pasha restaurant is like stepping into a fairy tale, specifically Arabian Nights. The lush decor in this southwest London restaurant transports you to Morocco; intricate filigreed chandeliers and low lighting, richly embroidered fabrics and dark wooden alcoves set the scene for a theatrical meal. So, first thing’s first – get your dining experience off to an exotic start with a cocktail in the Kemia Lounge before moving into the main dining room. Try and snag one of the intimate booths and then choose from the a la carte menu or opt for one of the tempting feast menus. All menus offer a range of traditional north African dishes and feature kemia - small dishes including hummus and courgette and cheese fritters. As for main courses, diners can choose from grilled meat, fish and vegetables, tagines and couscous dishes. Then indulge your sweet tooth with stacked platters of rich, honeyed Maghrebine (from the Maghreb region of north Africa) pastries and refreshing mint tea.

Very Good
We made a reservation in spite of rather controversial reviews on the place. It was the early evening meal before the theatre, so we did point this out to the greeting member of staff. Atmosphere was lovely, dimmed lights and very authentic settings. Staff was very welcoming, advised on dishes and time of preparation. I expected slightly more from the starters, I had an aubergine purée, while my friend - prawns in crusty pastry. However lamb cubes for the main course were absolutely outstanding!
My boyfriend and I dined last Friday. The restaurant is beautiful and authentic. Ask for a romantic table. You go through this little door and have your own table inside. The table is covered with rose petals, the seats are made of velvet. Theres lanterns and candles which creates this beautiful mood lighting. The service is good and very attentive. The food was average, nothing special but ok. Vast cocktail list and lots of wines to choose from.
Pasha: we had a lovely dinner in a separate alcove beautifully decorated. Food was great as usual, although we were disappointed that they don't do veg tagine anymore
I always have an amazing time when I come here. I've been coming back for years and I'm always welcomed warmly, the food is exquisite and the staff, charming. A very romantic setting too.
