Pasta Brown

About Pasta Brown

For nearly 50 years, the Brown family has been feeding hungry Londoners in Covent Garden and the surrounding area, and they really know what they're about. This, their newest restaurant, couldn't be more central as it is set directly opposite the Royal Opera House on Bow Street, right in the heart of theatreland. The decor is modern, warm, and welcoming with bright modern art on the neutral walls and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to return again and again. Forget the big names, Pasta Brown is some people's favourite restaurant in the capital. The menu includes all the casual Italian dishes you love: a wide range of starters, including bruschetta, avocado prawns, three-colour salad, many pastas, lasagne, a plethora of pizzas, chicken dishes, and tiramisu and banoffee pie, among other desserts. Italian wines, French water, great coffees, friendly service.

the sauce for the pasta was a little over salty for my taste, but overall good presentation and service

Pasta Brown's Bow St, Covent Garden was a great choice for our Pre-theatre meal. Centrally positioned close to the theatres meant we didn't have to rush our food. Food was authentic Italian at its best and tthe two courses offer was very good value for money. The House Merlot was very good and well priced.

Pre Covent Garden meal at Pasta Brown in Bow Street, London was really good. Excellent service and lovely food at a very reasonable cost. The red wine was warm and delicious. Would certainly go again but was told that they are closing in February. Such a shame!

Generally good experience for a business lunch. Relatively quiet so ideal for the purpose. Only one problem was that the staff didn't realise that we had a booking, which was a bit confusing because my business contact who arrived a few minutes before I did got quite confused when they told him there was no booking in my name. That definitely needs to be sorted out. Food was excellent though.

Very quick and friendly servcie, they let us sit and natter as long as we wanted - pretty good food - definitely consumable but by no means outstanding - noisy, cheery place, good value
