Lovage

About Lovage

Located just a stones throw from Tower Bridge, Lovage is a real treat for South London foodies and curry connoisseurs. Downstairs, the stylish bar serves up exotic signature cocktails, while upstairs, the dining room is a sleek, modern space – perfect for intimate dinners or full-on feasts with friends and family. In the kitchen, Chefs Mizan Choudhury and Bhuwan Bhatt are the dynamic duo who create Lovage’s light and healthy versions of classic Indian dishes. We recommend the fiery chicken jalfrezi, and the king prawns pardanashi. For a laid-back meal after a long day, you can’t go wrong here.

We had a great pre-theatre menu at Lovage. Although the selection is somewhat limited, we were all happy with our meals and they got us our meals in time for us to make our show. A charming place just past Tower Bridge - I hear they also do very good take away.

Lovage is a nice place with attendant and friendly staff. Unfortunately a little too attentive for me - they were constantly hovering. Great taste to the food, but again minor complaint - all the choices I had seem to have too much caramelised onion(I think). By the end of the evening my jaw was aching.
