Tired of Chelsea’s endless brasseries? Head for Pellicano on Elystan Street – a charming neighbourhood eatery specialising in homely Sardinian fare. Chef Maria Damu and her husband have been at the restaurant for nearly ten years and they are still winning over the locals with their warm welcomes and excellent food. The a la carte and set menus change seasonally and the Italian wine list includes some excellent bottles sourced from family-run wineries in Sardinia. We love the home-made spaghetti with tomato and lobster sauce and the weekly specials like roast guinea fowl and wild sea bass. With its friendly staff and great location close to the Kings Road, Pellicano is perfect for laid-back lunches and cosy dinner dates.

Pellicano offers stylish food at reasonable prices in a costly part of London (Chelsea is not noted for moderate pricing)
This is a charming little restaurant that knows how to prepare and serve simple but tasty Italian style food. The bread basket was full of Sardinian 'music sheets', a rare treat, and the pasta was very good. Deserts were good too. Service was a little slow, we had to ask for the coffee, and we missed our train home!
went to pellicanno in elestan st chelsea for sun lunch on arrival we were alone but after 15 mins it started to fill had two course menu of bass on mash and spinich i dont like spinich normaly but it was delicious followed by tirrasami the best i have had, if you like it quiet sun lunch is a good time, with nice low background music.mut be getting old? would reccomend. read parking notices carefully and enjoy
We had a great lunch at Pellicano, the service was attentive but not over the top and the food and wine were very good.
Pellicano is as reliable as ever and good value in April with the set menu
