Toptable says about Pescatori - Charlotte Street
Italian cuisine + fish + style, charm, and service = Pescatori! This relaxed, friendly brasserie-style restaurant serves only the freshest seafood in a seasonally-changing menu, and has been a firm favourite with lucky Fitzrovians for many lunas. Lots of local business people make it a regular part of their day, canny as they are. The all-time favourite dish is the shellfish platter on ice, with lobster, oysters, scallops, prawns, mussels, crab and sea snails, according to the day's catch. Starters include rustic fish soup, pasta and risottos, and mains might include crab and salmon fishcakes or baked cod with chickpeas and chorizo, although a terrific steak is always available for landlubbers.

This was my first visit to Pescatori in Charlotte Street but hopefully it won't be my last. The waiters were attentive but not overpowering. They helped with my choice of wine as I wanted to try something Italian other than Pinot Grigio and it was delicious. The food was fantastic. I started with oysters followed by halibut with a side of zucchini fry's (they were so good we ordered another portion) and a selection of deserts to share. It's making my mouth water just writing this!!!
Pescatori Fish & Seafood Restaurant was great value with the discount from toptable. The waiter was very attentive and the food was lovely. I would definately recommend this restaurant as it has great atmosphere for group settings.
We went to Pescatori Fish & Seafood restaurant early on a Thursday evening. As we arrived at 6.30pm we were the 1st ones there, but it soon started to fill. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive. We had 2 courses (starter & main). The portions were quite large, however I would have liked a little more lobster with my spaghetti. The decor is light & airy, the downstairs was decorated for a function & it looked absolutely wonderful. The '30% off' is a great deal, which I would recommend.
Pescatori was a great place to go. We booked impromptu and had a fantastic night - food was delicious - crab and avocado mousse good, maybe a little too big for a starter, really fresh halibut with clams. Service friendly and professional, may even be a little fast. Will return
Pescatore Fish & Seafood Restaurant
The fish was excellent, both the Seabass and Halibut were succulent and first-class. The starters were generous and good quality. Unfortunately the mash and vegetables that came with the Seabass were insufficient quantity, a bit mean, as I think a good restaurant should also feed people well. The Halibut came with mash but no vegetables. This could have been included in the high price, so the value for money was not good.
