I will be coming back again very soon. We opted for the set menu which was unbelievable value but the food was delicious, very nicely presented and the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzy but not too intrusive. Really enjoyed our time at St James and I'll be bringing more friends back.

St James, Crouch End - Food was very good (even though the a-la-carte maybe slightly overpriced), service was very friendly and we will definitely go again.

St James in Crouch End is a nice local place, we enjoyed the food and wine, though somehow the food doesn't quite reach the levels I remember from previous visits. The restaurant emptied out pretty quickly even on a Saturday evening, we were nearly the last people leaving by 9.30 pm and we noticed a number of people had moved downstairs to the bar area after dinner for drinks etc. where it's a bit more lively and buzzy.

I went on a wednesday evening with my girlfriend and it wasn't too busy but with a good atmosphere and it felt quite private but also very comfortable. The service was excellent as was the food. Bit pricey.
