Maidens Tower is a great local Turkish restaurant. Friendly service, delicious freshly made bread and well cooked food. All very well priced incuding the wines. The next best thing if you can't be in Turkey!
Excellent food, good location, a fun night had by all.
Could have been a nice neighbourhood gem, however, as expected for a venue in Chapel Market, there have been a few issues. First, in contrast to what their menu says, they don't have sparkling water in large bottles, second, I ordered lamb shish and instead got chicken, third the salad with the meals is simple, fourth, the moussaka was too oily. However, the starters and the bread were great, the service very friendly, and the way the meat is grilled interesting (a man sitting at the grill).
We had a great meal at Maidens Tower restaurant, at the Angel ,London. Good value for money, friendly service, delicious tasty food, will go again.
Great food, huge portions and friendly service. Convenient location near Angel, not far from Sadlers Wells. Really enjoyed my meal.
