Mennula
About Mennula
Almonds – or ‘mennula’ as they’re known natively – have long been a part of Sicilian cuisine, making this the ideal name for an Italian/Sicilian restaurant oozing with authenticity. Just off of Soho Square, Mennula is very much at the centre of the London scene but nonetheless maintains a very chilled out, welcoming vibe. Pretty and sophisticated, the Mennula dining room is decorated in charming purple and whites for a fresh, contemporary look matched by the simplest of place settings and the warmest, most helpful service. Chef Patron Santino Busciglio has put together a fine menu which changes seasonally, inspired by his native town of Cianciana, where, it’s no coincidence to hear, a month long festival celebrating the first blossom of almonds takes place every spring.

Mennula charlotte street Good food, very attentive service
Mennula was pleasant however I did feel it was over-priced. My main was tiny and the parmesan crust on the fish was undercooked, I was hoping for something crispier. The shared tapas-style starter was enjoyable.
Mennula, Charlotte Street - London W1 As always a good lunch with a varied choice from the menu. Would use again
The Mennula in Londons Charlotte Street is very small but has a pleasant decor and the reception and serving staff are pleasant a friendly. Our complaint is the attitude of the chef who refused to modify any dish. My daughter wanted spinach in her pasta but chef would not oblige. My son wanted Truffle on his dish but same again even though we were happy to pay extra. One dish was excessively salty, as tasted by 3 people at the table but chef said it was not!! Chefs attitude spoiled our evening
Delicious meal,a bit slow but then it was a very busy time. Quite expensive but food was really good
