  • Blood Brothers

    Musical

    13 Feb 2010 to 20 Feb 2010

Set in Liverpool in 1962, this dramatised melodramatic version of the subsequent smash hit musical, is fast moving and perceptive, thought provoking, funny, yet ultimately tragic. It tells the tale of twin brothers who are born into a large working class family and what happens when their mother decides to have one of them adopted. Blood Brothers examines the differences and conflicts of their different upbringings, their relationships with each other and their real and adopted mothers. The play considers the degree to which success in life is determined not by innate qualities but by the privileges, or disadvantages, of our upbringings.

  • Blood Brothers (West End)
