Fushia

About Fushia

Fushia Indian Restaurant is a grand and colourful restaurant set inside South Croydon’s converted Swan Electric Cinema. Located on Brighton Road, this spacious eatery retains a cavernous, old-school charm but has been thoroughly modernised and everything from the colourful lanterns, graphic rugs and the chrome, black leather and wood furnishings in the downstairs dining room to the cream and gold ballroom upstairs has been well finished, and the east-meets-west menu includes everything from Indian and Malaysian dishes to Sri Lanken specialties and fresh seafood. Fushia favourites include the Kerala fried kingfish marinated in masala sauce; the South African Garlic Chilli Mogo – cassava tossed in a spicy sauce; and the Karahi Lamb in a special Fushia gravy.

Excellent value with the TT offer. Deserves to be more popular.

Excellent food, popadums non greasy and with an assortment of accompaniments. The mixed grill was particularly good, the curries were spicy and tasty, the rice and nans hot and well cooked This restaurant is well worth a visit.

This is a fantastic place hidden away next door to the old Swan and sugar loaf Pub on the Brighton Road. when walking into the restaurant you find yourself transported to anothe world, The service was execellent and the food was of exceptional quality large portions meant on leaving we asked to take the left overs home, which they happily accommodated. If you fancy a great meal at reasonable prices this is the place to be will definetly going there again!!

Been here 4 or 5 times and loved the food so came back for my birthday with a group of friends. Once again the food was excellent - when it finally turned up! Also it all came in dribs and drabs so some of us had finished our starters while others were still waiting for theirs. All in all I think we were there for about 3 hours which made us all drink more than we should have! Some of us can't even remember their main courses! I love this restaurant but may think twice next time.
