We pre-booked for Kitchen Italia, Covent Garden, prior to seeing Matilda at Cambridge Theatre. Our waiter was very helpful advising which were the quickest menus bearing in mind our time limit. Food was good and portions a reasonable size. Service - just about the right amount of attentiveness. Yes, I'd go there again for pre or post theatre!
Kitchen Italia, Covent Garden - The food was excellent. The venue is in a very cool area within Covent Garden. The interior decor was very cool and we were seating in a booth so it is ideal for a group dinner if you want privacy. We had lasgane which was £9.95 each - so good value. Menu was very original and got a great kids menu. so much so, I have rebooked for 8 people in September!
Myself and my Girlfriend ate out at Kitchen Italia, based in Covent Garden on the 20th April. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious.. I eat a lot and there was certainly enough food to satisfy me and that is unusual. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a really good meal and didn't want to spend the high prices of fine dining!
Kitchen Italia in Covent Garden is a bright organised space and everything about it is similarly efficient and attractive. We had a simple pasta meal before going to the theatre and it was just right - tastier and more authentic than many pasta joints. The service was charming and the bill was reasonable. Would go back.
Kitchen Italia in Covent Garden offers better than average chain restaurant Italian food. The lasagne was good but fellow diner thought the Carbonara too salty. Service was fine but our request for a child's portion of bolognese sauce instead of meatballs with pasta was refused, surely not a difficult request. Good place for a quick meal in Covent Garden.
