Momo Japanese Restaurant

About Momo Japanese Restaurant

This sleek restaurant in Ealing, tucked away inside Hotel 55, has been serving up authentic Japanese cuisine to locals for over two decades. Recently located to its new premises from Queens Parade, Momo is still going strong and is looking better than ever. Filled with natural light and materials, the boutiquey interior is straight from the pages of a glossy design journal, and we love the restaurant’s over-sized canvases, skylights and landscaped gardens. Momo is renowned for its sushi, shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, but other sexy dishes include the shake teriyaki – grilled Scotch salmon in teriyaki sauce; the classic California rolls with avocado and cucumber; and the chawan mushi – steamed egg custard soup.

Amazing sushi

2 of us went to Momo on a snowy evening! and had a warm welcome from both the lovely interior and the staff. The food was lovely - simple and fresh (as you'd expect from a good Japanese) and tasy too. The staff were very attentive and helpful and we enjoyed our evening.

Momo Japenese restaurant is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful restaurant with delicious japenese food to rival places live Roka and Zuma. There is a lovely garden at the back as well. You would never realise this lovely restaurant was hdden on Hanger Lane. Just lovely. The staff do not speak english well but this is not a big problem.

food was good overall. service was acceptable but not at the high level as is standard of many good Japanese establishments. A bit too pricey for what you get. Gorgeous garden out back for a quick fag or just relaxing in the winter air.
