About Seven Park Place by William Drabble

Seriously sexy and sophisticated, this Michelin starred restaurant inside London’s St James’s Hotel and Club is one of the capital’s best kept gourmet secrets. Luxurious and discreet, Seven Park Place by William Drabble’s intimate dining room - with its glossy black walls, Deco-print banquettes and lavish wallpaper - is Diana Vreeland-esque, and the menu is a modern French work of art made with fresh British ingredients. The food was great, atmosphere intimate and service attentive but not overbearing. Seven Park place, for me, is London's best Michelin secret. The food is just as good as the more esteemed restaurants known in London. Superb.

I took my husband and parents in-law here for an important birthday. What a result. The food, table and the venue were all absolutely glorious, as was the service. Thank you so much for making this a special day! This is one of the very best venues I have been to in London, perfect for a sophisticated calm and elegant lunch or dinner in the heart of the city. We will be back!

Seven Park Place is intended to impress and does. The food was delicious. What looked like 3 modest courses turned out to be so filling there was hardly room for the petit four. The TT offer was a good menu and glass of wine, providing very good value for money. Service was pitched just about right. The decor is very attractive, especially the small back room. What a pity it was so hot. The staff turned off the heating agreeing it was too hot. It was like eating in the kitchen. Poor chef.

I had an excellent meal at Seven Park Place - didn't miss a beat. We chose from the 3 courses + glass of champagne menu. There were about 4 choices per course. I had morels stuffed with chicken mousse, followed by saddle of lamb with garlic mousse. My pud was strawberry mousse with berries. Absolutely delicious.
