Butcher and Grill was full on Fri eve, no offers on, just popular. Squid and chorizo starter punched way above their usual weight. Steak was also way better than the last time we ate there, in fact really - really - good. Booths the best space for up to 4 people. Definitely better than previous visits, begrudgingly impressed!
I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant and will definitely be going back. The food was great and we only found out when we got there that Wednesday's are 'half price steak night'. This just made it better (although I still went for the burger - which was one of the best I have eaten). All of the dishes that we received between the four of us were well presented and perfectly cooked. The steaks were mouthwatering and extremely tender. The atmosphere is good and service is quick.
Very good, very local!
The Butcher and Grill in Wimbledon Village, has been one of my favourite dining out experiences, albeit a bit pricey. The ambiance was set from the minute we walked in. The staff were brilliant. The food was cooked to perfection. I had the sirloin, which was worth the £14- paid (my only concern was the £3.50 extra charge per side dish). My gf had the lamb shoulder. With the haggis mash and root veg crisps, it was so good I had food envy. Overall a fantastic restaurant! We will go back...
