Whits

About Whits

Abingdon Road’s Whits, just off of Kensington High Street, has all the hallmarks of a great neighbourhood restaurant. Beginning with a welcome which warms the cockles of even the hardest nosed of Londoners, its difficult not to be bowled over by Whits’ charm offensive. Light and airy, with a conservatory feel and unpretentious furnishings, the dining room has an informal atmosphere which suggests that you really are as welcome to linger for hours over a glass of wine as you are to grab a quick lunch between meetings. The daily changing menu offered by the Whits kitchen is primarily French in flavour but you’ll nonetheless find surprising touches of anything from Hungarian to Italian adding international flavour to the always surprising dishes. We guarantee you’ll be back for more.

Outstanding meal at Whits - superb imaginative and brilliantly cooked and presented food in a lively, comfortable atmosphere.

Whits is a small cozy restaurant in Kensington. My friend and I were warmly welcomed by the hostess (and server) and had a wonderful meal. The Scottish fillet was delicious, and my friend enjoyed the venison. The coffee creme brulee dessert was delicious -- but should be shared between 2 people -- very rich and big portion! All in all, a place I would happily return to -- and recommend.

Whits Restaurant Kensington London On weekend break with five girlfriends and booked this restaurant at last minute but I am glad we did. We had a very warm welcome and the food was delicious the only complain I would have is that the portions are big. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or indeed living in the Kensington area.
