Sweeping across London towards Big Ben, its an outlook which any restauranteur would give sell his soul for. But rather than rest purely on their windows, 5th View have created an indulgent seafood and Champagne bar with a decadent feel and excellent food. Sumptuous and comfortable with a gentlemans-club-meets-boudoir-meets-country-mansion look, 5th View combines tactile furnishings with classic design and a buzzing atmosphere. A mouthwatering menu brings together the very best seafood out there, including native oysters, Devon crab and Scottish salmon, all of which are beautifully accompanied by a fine Champagne menu.

Simple but great food, great friendly service, and lovely views. Will definitely go back.
Despite the tall buildings around the restaurant, the view is still fairly pleasant and one can see The London Eye, for example, from the restaurant. It's the internal ambience that I, as a book lover, especially liked, and in conjunction with the fact that it's on the 5th floor of a bookshop is why I returned. The food was alright. Not bad, but all the same, not amazing. They have a nice selection of beers and good cocktails. I'd recommend the place more for drinks and location than food.
Lovely relaxed restaurant at the top of Waterstones with good views of the surrounding area.The Famous Platters are great value and excellent to split between a few people.A good find in the centre of London to enjoy a bite to eat whatever time of day.
5th View at Waterstones, Piccadilly. Great Lunch venue with great views. The food is simple but good, the service lets the place down.,
Although reasonably priced, I found the menu a bit limited, but the ambience and the view of London more than make up for it. Another plus point was that one could have a decent conversation, as the background noises were not too loud.
