• 15 - 19 year olds: Contemporary Technique at The Place

  New to the Classes and Courses programme these classes are specifically for 15 -19 year olds to bridge the gap between the Children and Youth Dance and the adult programme. This course is for students who have had previous experience in contemporary or ballet technique. Stephen will be teaching a Cunningham based class.

  Designed for complete beginners this course serves as an ideal starting point to take your first steps into classical ballet. Students are guided through the key principles in relaxed and informative classes, which provide students with a sound knowledge of the basic classical technique, movement vocabulary, coordination and confidence needed to progress on to Beginners Ballet.

  For Students who have a basic understanding of classical ballet technique but who would like to develop their skills. These classes will allow participants to gain a wider knowledge of ballet vocabulary, understand and improve their technique and confidence and enable them to progress to more advanced classes. Please note Level 1 is Not for complete beginners.
