We visited the Plum Bar and Grill London for dinner after attending a theatre matinee performance. No atmosphere - canteen like decor and arrangement. Serving staff were totally disorganised (confusion over availability of dishes, late arrival of one main meal because serving staff 'forgot' to bring it). Food mediocre.
We went at lunch time, it was a buffet service, we were shown around then sat at our table. The service good, food was great, wine a little too nice did not want to leave. Excellant for a business lunch.
Plum had extremely friendly service, great food, a quiet location and good views from the windows. The only slightly negative point was that the service was slow, but the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. The food was excellent both in taste and presentation.
Set in the Hilton Olympia, Plum Bar and Grill had tasteful surrounding / decor and helpful staff. Out of the salmon, chicken and moussaka dishes, the moussaka was the best and the soup we had for starters was very good too. Hot choc was well done, not an inspiring range of non-alcoholic cocktails, perhaps they should have been promoted as smoothies or fruit juice concoctions.
