Carnivale restaurant in London’s Whitechapel at the foot of Brick Lane presents an intimate and unique social space combining innovative dining, an extensive drinks provision, and a state-of-the-art sound system. Open seven days a week from noon until one in the morning, Carnivale blends handy all-day drinking and dining with the best of London's up and coming artistic talent. There are open mic nights and events almost every day of the week ranging from blues to comedy. The modern British menu offers great sharing platters, hand-stretched pizzas and simple, delicious dishes from the grill. The interior of this former church is fabulously cool and striking with hundreds of seven-inch single sleeves plastered over the walls, retro cinema seats, a terrific mezzanine overlooking the stage and a secluded, sunny patio. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and the staff are handsome and couldn’t be nicer.

Good food, excellent value for money.
great little find ...really tasty shame its got to close down
Delicious and imaginative vegetarian food, great service and cosy atmosphere.
Carnivale; another excellent meal. The Coutyard at the back is quite cold in the winter; but the food is wonderful and it's cheap. Don't expect to get out quickly as service is quite slow.
