Not great. Dining room horribly warm. Food average.
A striking dining space - all dark wall paper and modern chandeliers - but rather cold (literally and metaphorically). However, the food was excellent but was it really worth a bill of £100 (including sharing a pudding [not something I do often!], a very modest bottle of merlot and just the one coffee)? It was also extremely annoying to be told that they couldn't take a booking for 6:30pm because they would be full and we had to eat at 6pm. Of course it never get over half full all evening.
Awesome cocktails. Very busy at weekend - need more staff. My steak was surperb though.
The Class Rooms provided good food, however the diappointing aspect for me was the ambience. It was a Friday evening and just 1 other small table in the restaurant, and I never enjoy eating in an empty restaurant... However the duck carpaccio and the belly of pork were both cooked very well. The bar area is more style over substance, which is a shame, the seating is not condusive to having a relaxed pre or post dinner drink, which is again a shame.
Class Rooms needs to learn a lesson or two! The food was good but we waited over an hour for our main course after our starters. The service was not great and when we decided not to leave a full tip they chased after us to tell us we were short on the bill. We had their £25 for 3 courses and a glass of wine and they were not very flexible on the menu options - considering we had a pregnant friend with us, they could have been a little more understanding.
