An old-fashioned, homely Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Food typically fish, pizza, pasta. Average prices. We would go back.

Il Boteglio, London - pleasant enough eaterie. the TT deal was limited range of starters (all very average fare) plus a pasta or pizza. All my group opted for pasta - all fine, nothing special - just pasta and sauce - but decent enough. Starters a bit disappointing - pastas ok. Friendly staff and owner.

Il Boteglio Restaurant, 60 Long Lane, London EC1A 9E Our booking was for a party of 6 on Friday evening. We all decided on the set £14.95 menu as there was plenty of choice for everyone. We all agreed how good the food was and well worth it. Superb portions and our food was hot (not tepid as is so common), what really stood out was the service from the staff. So friendly, so polite, helpful (and smiling). The decor was gorgeous as was the ambience. TOTALLY RECOMMEND. Was really good :)

Enjoyed a wonderful evening in the charming El Bogelio opposite Smithfield market. The restaurant is small and quaint; the service warm and friendly and the food authentic and delicious. Can't ask for more!
