Naru Restaurant

About Naru Restaurant

We love discovering a hidden local gem, and Naru in Shaftesbury Avenue is just that. Perfectly located for pre/post theatre meals and media schmoozing, this atmospheric hideaway will make you feel like you've stepped into a streetside diner in Seoul, rather than away from the bright lights and bustle of theatre-land. Dark and moody, lit with gorgeous paper-parcel lamps, the dining room is intimate and the food here is fresh, healthy and exquisitely presented. Star dishes include the yuk gye jang - spicy soup with shredded beef and vegetables; the o jing a bok kum - fried calamari and assorted vegetables sautéed in a spicy-honey sauce; and the green tea tiramisu.

Had a very enjoyable meal in Naru, London. Very friendly service, nice relaxing atmosphere. Food was good, although some better than others. Very cramped toilets.

Food and service is great despite being part of a fairly large group. I've been to Naru London a few times now and always love the food and find it authentic compared to the food I ate in Seoul. Would highly recommend the Seafood Pancake.

Nice atmosphere and staff were very nice. Food was good but nothing to rave about. Would have liked things to be slightly more spicer. Would go again for a relaxed casual dinner or lunch.

Great atmosphere and service. Food is first class, authentic Korean, and selection of drinks go with the food fantastically.
