I booked RIBA last week for a business lunch and whilst the venue is quite incredible, it feels a little odd to be in such a large room with so few tables. The food was very well presented and attractive to look at. Unfortunately the taste itself was somewhat lacking. The scallops were lovely, but came with some raw veg which didn't compliment it well. The roast wood pigeon was tough and tasted more like liver than game. All-in-all a good experience, but not great.
Very "artistic" venue - took clients there for lunch and all were suitably impressed !
A very pleasant lunch
great food; slow service
Our lunch was spoiled by the continuous noise of workers getting the exhibition space next to the restaurant ready for an event. I had to ask the staff to intervene twice. It was disappointing that they did not seem to understand why this was a problem for diners.
