Frustrated shipyard worker and divorced father Slimane increasingly feels his life has amounted to little. In a desperate bid to escape his depression, Slimane decides to set up his own restaurant. Whilst his meagre salary proves a difficult obstacle to overcome in order to reach his goal, Slimane's loving but dysfunctional family help keep his dream alive.
