Juniper Dining

About Juniper Dining

For good, honest food in casually elegant surrounds, Juniper Dining is a gorgeous family-run restaurant that is doing a roaring trade on the Highbury Park dining scene. From the pale grey and white walls to the wooden floors and small framed black and white photographic prints – Juniper Dining oozes old-fashioned good taste which also extends itself to the kitchen making this a surefire neighbourhood gem. Popular for working lunches, weekend brunches and intimate evening meals, chef/proprietor Rob Wilkinson has created a stellar modern British/Euro menu and we love the cripsy coconut chicken with a Thai salad, sweet chilli dressing and chilli peanuts, and the pistachio crusted rack of lamb with sweet potatoes and rosemary jus.

We ate at Juniper Dining on a Wednesday night in Feburary and it lived up to all the reviews posted so far. Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Had mackerel salad followed by beef bourginioun from their set menu - both extremely well done. Not from the set menu, the pistachio-encrusted lamb my boyfriend had was equally good,as was his coconut chicken starter. Very filling, just about managed to share a desert (creme brulee). Only 4 wines by the glass but a very good frenchfor under £7

Great local brasserie! Fab food & friendly (but not intrusive) service. Went for a meal with my parents who are still raving about it. My dad says the Belly Pork was possibly the best piece of pork he'd ever tasted! This will soon be a local for us and I am looking forward to many return trips.

High quality food for a relatively reasonable price. We ordered the 2 course set menu for £15.95 where the choices were tasty and nice. 12.5% service charge which is always annoying. Drinks prices were also ok. We had to wait for a while for the mains.

We went to Juniper Dining in Highbury last night. The food was exceptional and reasonably priced considering the quality and it's clear that the menu is carefully considered and cooked with passion. The service was good, the atmosphere was relaxed and we will definitely be going back.
