Kitchen W8
About Kitchen W8
Created as your very own home-from-home, Kitchen W8 is a chic but comfortable restaurant just off of London’s famously fashionable Kensington High Street. Here, owners Philip Howard and Rebecca Mascarenhas have carefully put together a space that equally appeals as a romantic, intimate dining spot or a laid back meeting place where food and drink is enjoyed and spirits are lifted. Very much concerned with the ethics of food, Kitchen W8 combines a passion for flavour with an emphasis on high quality ingredients from excellent local suppliers boasting a great British heritage. The Kitchen W8 menu combines the classic English simplicity with a very French inspired culinary sophistication.

My US companions judged Kitchen 8, just off Kemsington High Street, to be the best meal they've had so far in a week in Britain. Friendly service, interesting menu, quality food, buzzy atmosphere. We needed somewhere just a step from Olympia and the limited options surrounding the exhibition and this was perfect.
Dinner at Kitchen W8 last night was phenomenal! We hadn't eaten food that amazing in a while and were pleased to find that the final bill was not out of this world. The restaurant has a great location and lovely dining room. Staff were friendly although a bit unreachable at times. That is probably our only critique because the food was absolutely gorgeous and none of us could stop making 'oh my gosh, this is soooo good' comments! Please go! If you're a foodie like me, you'll be in heaven!
Kitchen W8 is very conveniently positioned near Earls Court which helped when trying to find a NICE restaurant for a lunch meeting during a conference at the Exhibition Centre.
Kitchen W8 in Kensington was a great meal. The service was very good and we enjoyed a nice paced meal. We enjoyed the fois gras and the hen egg starters and then the cod and veal mains. My husband enjoyed the chocolate dessert which has a thyme flavoured element. I had the fruit dessert which was a bit too tarte for my liking. All in all a great night.
We much enjoyed our first visit to Kitchen W8 in Kensington. The restaurant was busy but the service was attentive, without being intrusive. The main course of venison was a particular highlight.
