Doukan - food was fabulous, ambience was really buzzy and service was brilliant. The lamb for mains was a big hit. Top marks from me and would definitely go again/ recommend. If I was going to be constructively critical, I'd say the restaurant music was a bit too much like bar music, and I'm never keen on restaurants including discretionary service charge in the final bill. But then again, many restaurants in London do that these days, so it's probably a bit unfair to mention it here.
Top table screwed up the booking (got an immediate confirmation on the website but when we turned up the host hadn't got a booking for us) but they were excellent. We were found a seat in the bar, given a free glass of bubbly to apologise and had an excellent meal. The service was outstanding.

I loved it here. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, the food was perfect, and it was very cosy. Only very slight negative is that the portions could be a touch bigger. I will be going back!
