Ransome's Dock near Battersea just off the River Thames in London is a tranquil venue, and the service and welcome throughout the meal was first rate. At £22 for a 3-course Sunday lunch we felt it was good value, roast potatoes done to perfection, excellent free range chicken, with starters and desserts of a similar standard. If you want to go somewhere to relex and chill out in an unhurried, peaceful atmosphere just behind the River Thames alongside some houseboats, then go!

Ransomes Dock Battersea. Not having been there for a while I was pleased to see a good improvement in the food and service . The wine list has to be one of the best of any London Restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. Can be recommended.

Great local restaurant. Went there on Saturday lunchtime so fairly quiet but we were looked after very well. Everyone very pleased with their choices from the menu.

Sold local with some good seasonal specials although the a la carte could do with a refresh. Dont forget the wine list.
