The dining room at Thai Eighteen is neutrally decorated with off-white walls, dark wooden furniture and oak floors – the pièce de résistance being the large century-old sepia prints the owners sourced from the National Library of Thailand, and the fresh and fabulous MSG-free menu. Locals love classics such as the green Thai chicken curry, Tom Yum soup and the red duck curry, and we also recommend the crispy soft-shelled crab and Thai fishcakes made with lemongrass and lime leaves.

Thai Eighteen, Hadley Wood. This is my second visit to this restaurant and I took friends for a special birthday dinner.Once again food did not disappoint and the service was again warm and friendly. Very authentic thai food, fresh &beautifully presented.If I had one issue it was that we were the only diners on a Sunday evening, so there was a slight lack of atmosphere, you felt a little sorry that they were not busy, although they put this down to the last day of the football season.
This was truly the best thai food I had. It felt like being in Thailand. The staff were very friendly and the service great. I will definitely return.
