Mosaica @ The Factory
About Mosaica @ The Factory
Tucked away in Wood Green in North London, near Alexandra Park, Mosaica @ The Factory is a local gem of a restaurant hidden away on Clarendon Street. Located in a former chocolate factory, the cavernous dining room has a boho Brooklyn-esque vibe, and is decorated with an eclectic mix of candles, fairy lights, vintage furniture, and artworks by artists who also work in the building. The modern European menu at Mosaica is complimented by a diverse wine list with vintages from Australia, Chile, Spain and Italy, and signature dishes include the fillet of beef carpaccio with wasabi mayonnaise; the sea bass cooked with vanilla pods and served with salad and confit tomatoes; and the pistachio panna cotta with macaroons.

Really liked this restaurant tucked away in the old Chocolate Factory in N22, you walk through the building to the rear where you enter a wonderful seductive bar and dining area with interesting artwork and lots of delicate fairy lights whilst great music playing. You can also see the chefs at work in the kitchen. Great ambience, good service and really good food! Would recommend but note food orders stop at 9.30 but not the bar!!
Mosaica, London - Overall an OK experience, but very expensive for what it is. West-End prices in Wood Green. Beer was frozen in the bottle, music far too loud, main courses took very long to arrive after starters were cleared. Food was nice but could have been better. Service was very casual.
Excellent food and hospitality, a real gem of a find and heartily recommended!
Booked a table for six at Mosaica on a Thursday and all guests really enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere wasn't great; it's a good sized restaurant and was not busy at all. Service was excellent. The lamb shoulder was exquisite. The menu isn't cheap, but the quality of the food is high. Being located in an industrial area is slightly odd and doesn't enthuse but once in, the restaurant is attractively set out. Would recommend for a weekend visit when atmosphere is better.
Lovely meal at Mosaica as always. Menu had good mixture of regular favourites such as the roast belly pork, sardines and sticky toffee pud. But also loved the seasonal additions. Cheese board was phenomenal on Friday, and more than enough to share.
