The Maltings Café

About The Maltings Café

The Maltings Café is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located on the south side of the Tower Bridge in London, this chic, chilled venue serves up simple and delicious Mediterranean dishes alongside an extensive old world wine list. The sunny, friendly dining room – with blond wood floors, vanilla-hued lamps and exposed brick walls – is popular with both locals and city types for business lunches and intimate evening meals, and the daily menu is prepared with the finest ingredients using authentic regional recipes. We love the Napoli sausages served with canellini beans and sage; the linguine with meatballs, tomatoes and parmesan cheese; and the grilled squid served with lemon.

Maltings Cafe What's not to love!

A great place that is tucked away just off the new London Bridge 'strip'. Perfect place to have a £15-20 lunch where you can hear ; and enjoy really good food from an imaginative and small menu. Try the slow cooked lamb shoulder to share if possible. I selfishly hope Maltings does not attract the over crowded popularity it deserves.

I had to take a day off to try the Maltings Café and it was definitely worth it. The menu on the blackboard was short but everything I had was tasty and well executed using first quality ingredients.

I arrived late so I didn't have time to eat from the main menu but managed to grab a roasted veg and pesto sandwich, simple but delicious! I also tucked away the toasted brioche with compote and cream, which I was equally impressed with. Staff were friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. I will definatly be making another visit, I will make sure I turn up on time next time!
