The Wharf Restaurant
About The Wharf Restaurant
Idyllically set on the riverbank at Teddington Lock, The Wharf Restaurant offers diners a picturesque and relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle of London living. Converted from an old boathouse, with much modernisation, including a new light and airy conservatory overlooking the river, The Wharf is popular with locals and a destination of choice for those further afield. Choose from classics such as catch of the day from Billingsgate, roast Highland venison, lobster and chips or fish pie, great steaks and sumptuous hamburgers. All followed by some great puddings such as apple and pear crumble with custard or warm bread and butter pudding.

The Wharf Restaurant in Teddington was amazing. We went half an hour late but that did not affect the good service we received there. Courteous, efficient, friendly. The food was really good, we had bavette, fish and chips and calves liver, they were all tasty and well presented. The venue has a lot of ambience, is just by the river and the views are great. I would recommend this restaurant for a lazy lunch or special occasion, it will make your day.
Having been highly impressed by our Friday dinner the night before my boyfriend and I were wondering what our anniversary "first date" would be like. Luckily great vibe, engaging staff and pleasant food delivered a lovely evening. Food was very good yet not amazing but the location is a great date place. Shall try to get to a Sunday jazz night
We had a delicious meal on Wednesday lunch time at the Wharf in Teddington. It is in a stunning setting right down next to the Thames. Week day lunch times seem to be very quiet but we sat there very happily taking three hours over our meal. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Absolutely ideal for Ladies Who Lunch!
Again, tremendous servce and still very very good food. One of my favourite places in the SW London area.
Great as always. Since over a year they have a new kitchen chef. The food is even better than before. The service was, as always, outstanding - then again, I am a rather regular customer. We're a Franco-German couple so the service staff keep remembering ... My wife will be greeted (and served) in French (very well), and myself in German (a bit more broken, but it's the thought that counts). Location is also nice.
