friendly but slow service, and great food. Especially the starters. Paneer tikka was slight;ly plain, but all the lamb was cooked to perfection. Not really catered for asians (i.e. No chilli sauce LOL) but the meat being cooked well made up for it. Good atmosphere with an indian music dvd playing in the background. Slight issue with the bill with regards to what dishes they took off as free, which was expected as its not 50% off but 2 for 1. But they did offer to adjust it, if we were not happy
Remember they will add 10% to the total value before they deduct 50%. Still good value but there are other nearby deals with 4 courses for £8.95!
dined at jalalabad 2 in ilford with a friend. food was great but staff not really vert friendly. didnt pour the wine. staff dont seem to know how to smile, no real people skills.
Restaurant was empty and staff weren't friendly or welcoming. Food was good and quick however.
We enjoyed another delicious meal at Jalalabad 2, Ilford on Fri evening. Suprisingly the restaurant was sparsely attended (as I have always had a very good time and great food every time I have visited). On this occasion we received very good service, great food and a complimentary shot of Baileys at the end of the evening (thanks). Good value for money & no complaints from me at all and will certainly return in the near future
