Elements Restaurant

About Elements Restaurant

Business travellers and city commuters have welcomed Novotel's newest 4-star New Generation hotel to London. Located just behind Paddington station - making it readily accessible to the tube and to the Heathrow express - this restaurant is incredibly well connected and in touch with its time-poor clientele. Elements restaurant is a stylish space complete with TV dining pods for lone diners, over-sized lamps and fresh flowers, and the modern British menu is available in three serving sizes - taster, starter and main. The hotel's gold, copper and bronze facade, designed by Dexter Moren Associates, is easy to spot from the station, and this is a convenient place for business meetings, corporate entertaining and group dining.

For a hotel restaurant Elements is very good. The area is like a set from a film but the food and service were very good even if the atmosphere and area is not

Elements is hard to find and when found was empty apart from our table. The staff were delightful and helpful, food very good, ambience somewhat lacking as there is a building site in view from the windows. It will be very good when the locality is finished.

Elements Restaurant is in the Novotel Paddington hotel which is in the regenerated area behind Paddington station. The hotel is a bit tricky to find as the whole area is not yet on any maps but Novotel Paddington has a good website with detailed directions on how to get there. The food was delicious and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. If you work near Paddington or need to catch a train, this is an ideal place to meet, relax, have dinner or drinks away from all the hustle and bussle.

The menu, cooking, service and pricing are all surprisingly good for what is, after all, a chain hotel restaurant. It is really rather difficult to find any fault with Elements when rated against what it sets out to be; the atmosphere is a little lacking (as it is with many catering establishments) and the puddings could do with some minor improvements. Overall: we would happily return and probably will.
