Toptable says about Byblos Harbour

For authentic Lebanese cuisine and a warm welcome, London's city slickers head for Byblos Harbour – a relaxed yet stylish restaurant overlooking Millwall Dock. The restaurant is named after the Lebanese city of Byblos, which is said to be the oldest in the world, and the chefs use traditional recipes and high quality ingredients to create classic Middle Eastern specialties. The menu includes popular dishes like Shawarma LaHem (thin slices of marinated, grilled lamb shoulder) and Loukoz (grilled sea bass with sesame seed marinade). The hot and cold mezze is popular at lunch and after work, and the traditional sweet pastries are a satisfying end to the meal. Byblos Harbour also offers an excellent selection of Lebanese wines and an alfresco sheesha area.

Byblos had great food and fun, attentive staff. The evening we went the restaurant had real problems with the heating and it was very chilly! The staff were helpful and gave us all free desserts to help make amends.

I booked Byblos Harbour for dinner before an event at the O2. It was a little difficult to find amongst the surrounding construction work but well worth it. We went for mezze dishes, all brilliant and arrived pretty quick. The baklava that came with the bill was a nice touch. I nearly fell when we got there from the floor being recently mopped but the rest of the experience definitely made up for it! Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Byblos Harbour was a great find, a 5 min walk from South Dock DLR at Canary Wharf. Delicious Lebanese food and friendly service - highly recommended and well worth the trip.

We requested a selection of hot and cold Mezze, at lunch, for 9 people and they did a very good job of delivering. Food was good rather than stunning but we had no complaints. The staff weren't the most attentive (we had to wait for a soft drink to arrive) and it is only a small restaurant so that shouldn't be too difficult.

We were staggered when we got the bill though. Excellent value for money.

Really good to see you can still get a good quality meal in pleasant surroundings with out breaking the bank! Very generous portions, good wines, relaxed atmosphere - highly recommended.
