Brasserie and Wine Bar Toulouse Lautrec

About Brasserie and Wine Bar Toulouse Lautrec

Bringing a touch of French flair to Kennington, Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec is a traditional brasserie and wine bar set inside a lovingly refurbished English pub. It is run by two brothers – Nolan and Florent - whose parents have run the neighbouring Lobster Pot restaurant for 18 years, so there’s plenty of authentic French charm on offer. Set over two floors, the warm and inviting space is divided into a rustic ground floor brasserie and an upstairs Piano bar with live piano music every evening. Head Chef Florent specialises in classic French dishes like snails in puff pastry with a white wine sauce; Toulouse sausages with homemade mash and red onion gravy; and chargrilled sirloin steak with frites and green pepper sauce.

This brasserie is a great place, very simple and laid back you almost feel like in Toulouse if not only for the noise from the street. The menu is very french, a small wine list with wines by the glass and for the wine lovers there is also a extended wine list available. I had a special starter of mussels gratined with lots of garlic and bread crumbs(mmmm!) And my old time favorite steak tartare with huge portion of fries and side salad. It will definitely be a place to go back, also close to home

Great food at Toulouse Lautrec. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Simple pricing is also very good.

Booked at the last minute for Sunday breakfast. The place was empty except us. Tasty but over priced in my view - breakfast was eggs benedict, eggs black pudding, toast, coffee for two and orange juice - £30! Not good value.

Had dinner at Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec on a Sat night. We went early and it lacked a little atmosphere but ws nice when it got busie and music was put on. Great value with high quality food and great variety. I wasnt happy with my lamb which wasnt really slow cooked as described, but overall food was good.
