Bistro 1 - Brewer Street

Tucked away behind the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus, this lively restaurant is perfect for pre-theatre and post-sightseeing meals. For hearty Mediterranean food and a no-nonsense, unpretentious vibe, Bistro1 is also fun for informal lunches, office parties and lively nights out with groups of friends. The dining room is colourful and the restaurant's service is super-friendly, but Bistro1's menu itself is the main attraction, crammed with old-fashioned favourites such as fish and chips, bangers and mash and chargrilled sardines. We love the pan-fried tuna steak with sautéed cherry tomatoes, garlic sauce and rice; the Mediterranean-style meat Moussaka with rice and salad; and the sticky and delicious homemade banoffee pie.
