6 of us had a good evening at Bacco, very good value with 50% off and the food was reasonable if not very exciting.Very good service and excellent wine at £16 a bottle.

We had a brilliant evening at Bacco. The service was outstanding - proper Italian hospitality- and the food was excellent.

Our cocktail and wine were excellent, but the starters were unfortunately somewhat bland. The main course took over 45 minutes to reach us and while my guests swordfish was apparently very good - my sirloin steak was well done(Asked for medium rare) and a very poor cut of meat. I sent it back to have another piece cooked. At full price I would have had a serious complaint - with the 50% off deal and free brandy by way of apology I could just about deal with it. I was disappointed - very average.

Starters were amazing and the presentation impeccable. We got Pappardelle al Sugo di Lepre as main and it was simply delicious. We had veil and it was so tender it could melt in our mouths. Tiramisu' and panna cotta were gorgeous. The seclection of wines is impressive and the service we got was impeccable. Highly reccomended - will definately return and spread the word to my friends
