Lovely wine, good promotion, had run out of pistachio ice cream and were not informed when ordering. Very good sea food, enjoyed the sea food platter, and tuna tartare.
Three of us went to Bacco in Holborn for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The set menu was excellent, and two courses left you feeling comfortably full. Ingredients were fresh and the food was very well-prepared and presented. Service was prompt and the atmosphere friendly. The place was pretty full on a weekday lunchtime, which is a good sign. I would definitely go back.
Bacco restauran in holborn.it was yery nice and fresh food. Great ingredients, very good skills, and authentic Italian place! Finally a authentic Italian restaurant that does not disappoint. The service was perfect, efficient, discrete and friendly. The wine selection is also very interesting. It is not trying to please those who always drink the same French wines. Ask the head waiters to help . A very pleasant experience, and I will definitely come back.Highly recommended
Food simple but well cooked. (Although my medium rare lamb was provided rare). Starters excellent. Main course good, straightforward cooking. Pudding average. The wine was very overpriced and the bottle we had at 21 pounds about 8 overpriced, worse than house wine at many places. Excellent service and ambiance. However, this is what one is paying for and the bill was fairly steep even with 50 percent off food.
Food was very good, service Does not match up to the deco, we had to try very hard to get the attention of the staff everytime needed something and some of the staff are much better than the others...not sure if I would go back without the 50% off deal...
